Reliable Enterprise Solution: NUROUM C46 Performance Overview

As an enterprise solution; it offers decent all-around capability. The camera has great color grading right out of the box, skin tones look natural and it copes well with difficult lighting environments. The condenser microphones aren’t winning any awards for sound quality, but they are always audible and I can clearly make out the speech without difficulty. The speakers are clearly made for emphasizing vocals, to the point where background music is quite hard to hear in videos. Again, good for conference calls, not for consumer audio. They get shockingly loud, which I would consider a positive, and distortion at higher volumes isn’t too big of a worry.

This smart conference camera setup amazes me.

This smart conference camera setup amazes me. It knows how to zero in on whomever is talking, and it sounds GREAT. When testing, I made sure to be on both ends of conference calls using it, and was blown away. Even during another test of just me on both sides, the camera was able to find me when I switched my position in the room. The zooming can be a little weird, but once it focuses in, it is a really great feature for spotlighting a speaker.
