I tested this A35 by facing away from the speaker, talking in a normal voice and on the recording I made my voice sounded the same. as it did when I was talking directly to the speaker. The volume output of the speaker is nice and loud, which I appreciate as other speakerphones tend to be on the lower end of the volume spectrum. The buttons are responsive and the volume controls control the PC volume.
